A forest dog joins a hike.

This little one became my trekking guide on a walk into the forest.

Appearing out of nowhere, it accompanied me for the entire hike, up to the peak and back down again, walking ahead yet stopping often to look back.

Then, at twilight, it scurried off to return where it came from.

What a heartwarming experience!
